Incoterms Used: Sales are primarily structured under the Incoterm FCA (collection at the Brazilian factory or location previously agreed upon and defined between exporter and importer). Traceability and Sustainable Origin: For solid wood furniture and artifacts aimed at premium markets such as the United Kingdom and France, proof of origin from sustainably managed forests is required, through FSC or CERFLOR certifications.
On-Demand Synchronization: The platform integrates with the industries' ERP systems via APIs. Since our sales model on the platform is based on customer purchase needs, quantities and specifications will be sent for quotation, demonstrating purchase interest and customizing to each demand. Cimex Global will automatically monitor manufacturing lead time to generate realistic delivery times for the buyer.
Guaranteed Quotation: Due to international volatility, the calculated value of freight, insurance, and customs fees included in the final quote is valid for a maximum of 7 days through the contractual freeze on the exchange rate.
Pre-Clearance (Advance Clearance): To mitigate port demurrage costs, Cimex Global sends and validates customs documents with local and destination customs brokers even before the cargo arrives at land borders, air borders, or destination ports, expressly speeding up last-mile delivery.
Mandatory Cargo Insurance: No cargo is released for international transit without the mandatory contracting of international door-to-door insurance, covering accidents, transport damage, or loss. The contracting and cost of this insurance are the responsibility of the company contracting the freight (which may be the exporter or the importer, depending on the Incoterm negotiated).
Expiration of Shipping Risk: Once delivery has been made to the address agreed upon with the buyer, Cimex Global's shipping responsibility ceases. Any dispute opened after receipt must strictly adhere to the deadlines outlined in our Policy.
